We've Moved.

As of this fall, Anika and I are back in New York. Feels so good to be home.

The Fast Set // Black Heart

Ok, so, as far as music goes, my time in California has been full of false starts. However, with the help of Patrice Scinta, Bryn Knowles and Raphi Gottesman, I was able to do a little recording for a new project, The Fast Set.

Someone described the sound as "dirty rock" and I think let's just go with that.

Dadstagram

My father emails my sister and I photos from his Blackberry. He does this a lot.

Hilariously, the content and update patterns of these emails began to seem familiar. They echoed a well-known mobile photo-sharing social network. There were sunsets. There was wildlife. There were tall buildings. Updates spiked when dad was traveling. The resemblance was uncanny.

So, my sister and I took to calling this Dad-Blackberry-Email-Photo-Feed-1.0 Dadstagram. Then, we realized we could actually make Dadstagram an Internet reality. So we decided to do so.
